Mathematics

This course is designed to extend knowledge of topics such as Algebra, Trigonometry and Coordinate Geometry, as well as learning some new skills such as Calculus and Logarithms. Options of additional study could cover: Decision Mathematics (circuit design, project planning and optimal profit), Mechanics (the motion of objects such as cars through to satellites) and Statistics (the analysis of data and use of probability to make predictions).

And afterwards... Mathematics is in great demand by employers. Some careers make obvious use of the maths skills learned in areas such as accountancy, banks and financial services. Alternatively, the ability to analyse and solve problems gives opportunities in local government, the Civil Service and all areas of industry and commerce.
