English Literature

This course aims to broaden appreciation of literature through a wide range of genres including modern novels, poetry and drama. In both coursework and an examination students will improve their critical abilities and develop their academic essay styles by the careful analysis of texts using appropriate ideas and terminology.

And afterwards… Students can continue their studies in English Literature at University. Alternatively, this qualification can be used as a basis for a career in journalism or the media.
