English Language and Literature

On this course, students work with a range of literary and non-literary texts, as well as speech and conversational discourse. Texts include an anthology of poetry, as well as fiction and drama. Coursework is both creative and analytical. Texts are approached from a variety of linguistic and literary viewpoints.

And afterwards… Success with English Language & Literature is the basis for entry to Higher Education on a wide range of courses, including English. Alternatively, the qualification can be used as a basis for a career in journalism or the media.
