Design Technology Resistant Materials

This course encourages students to take a broad view of Technology and Design. You will develop and extend your capability to design through technical, freehand drawing and CAD through to realisation of making products, whilst developing your own interests and ideas. You will learn and appreciate the relationships between design, materials, manufacturing, as well as marketing and sustainability issues within product design. The coursework is both written and practical.

And afterwards… Students can continue onto degree courses in Architecture, Industrial Design and some enter the automotive industry. There are many Higher Education courses available, including teaching where there is a shortage in Design and Technology.
