Computing

Computing is concerned with both the logical and physical construction of a computer. Students will investigate how tiny microscopic dots of magnetism can be manipulated so that they become games, business applications and any number of web pages. Students will be able to develop skills in writing their own software application, from a basic idea right through to a fully working programme.

And afterwards... Computing students are regarded as a valuable asset to any company using computers. There is a great deal of choice in potential careers, including account manager, software engineer, database administrator, systems designer, computer virus expert and IT consultant.
