Students at Woking College have once again achieved outstanding results in their A levels. The pass rate was 99% and more students than ever achieved top grades and 29 subjects achieved a 100% pass rate.
Notable student successes include the 25 students who gained 3 A grades or better, notably Thomas Smith, Sarai Sinai and Sahin Mir who gained 4 A grades and Jonathan Lipsombe who gained 5 A grades. Jonathon Lipscombe, James Berry and Abigail Palmer have all gained places at either Oxford or Cambridge Universities.
Principal Martin Ingram was delighted:
“I am really pleased for our students and staff who have worked so hard to produce this fantastic result – not only is the pass mark so high, virtually every student completed every course they started and more students than ever before gained A and B grades. We really mustn’t underestimate the level of commitment that shows”
